With an impressive career in Denmark, a happy and tech savvy nation, Claus has contributed to national and international projects, and helped make Denmark a global leader of digital health and care tech. He was a pioneer in launching mobile solutions back in the 1990s for health and social care, later promoting political awareness and uptake of IoT, robotics & tech services for citizens, patients and older adults. Today he is a digital nomad, working to enable access to affordable mobile healthcare in Thailand and other countries, and developing a platform to ensure that patients can exercise meaningful control over their data. Lina Shadid began her consulting career in 1994. Since then she has held a series of positions, most recently as Partner and Leader for Digital Health in PwC, Middle East. Her responsibilities include setting
the business and strategic direction, building delivery and operations capabilities for the Digital Healthcare.

Prior to PwC , she was IBM’s Vice President and Global Healthcare and
life science CoC leader serving a number of global healthcare clients. Throughout her professional career, Lina has focused on transformation strategy, implementation and innovation. Lina held several executive positions within the Middle East and Africa region including
establishing the healthcare & life science business where she ran the
Healthcare Business in the region for more than 10 years and worked
with a number of Healthcare providers, payors and regulators.

Her client list includes, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Ministry of Health
Saudi Arabia, Norwegian Health, American Hospital Dubai, Dubai
Health Authority, Department of Health Abu Dhabi, MOH UAE and
several others across the region and globally.

He has successfully helped many global clients in a variety of industries achieve real and tangible business benefits out of their IT investments. Eyad has led a variety of engagements in the UK and MiddleEast Healthcaresector, covering Digital Health carestrategies, Patient Health Record management and Hospital Administration systems. Prior to joining PwC, Eyad led a large Technology Practice in the UK for one of the leading global System Integrators focusing on delivering innovative solutions in a variety of industries including Healthcare.

Sven is a cognitive/semantic/deeplearning/machine learning/NLP computing and cloud
expert, an early adopter of new technologies and AI researcher. Sven worked on artificial intelligence “before it was cool” and is one of the advocates of demystifying AI.

Sven has a PhD in computer Science and next to his academic profession, Sven also roamed the “real world” working on a number of software companies in different teams across the
world with leading vendors such as Salesforce, Amazon, SAP, Microsoft, Google etc.

Dr. Osama El Hassan

Dr. Osama El Hassan is the head of eHealth section within Health Data and Information Analysis Department at Dubai Health Authority and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the e-School of Health and Environmental Studies at Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart University.

Dr. Osama joined DHA in 2012 to take the responsibility of devising and executing DHA’s e-Health vision and to further develop Dubai’s Health Data Standardization initiatives. Before joining DHA, he worked for 3 years as a Senior Technical consult in TECOM Investments where he was supervising IT operations within Dubai Healthcare City.

Natasha is the Special Needs Educator at Amana Healthcare – Al Ain. Natasha qualified in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Karachi in Pakistan and then she obtained her degree in Master of Special Education from the same university in 2012.

Atif Al Braiki

Prior to joining Malaffi, Mr. Al Braiki was the Director of Strategic Projects at Injazat Data Systems, where he was responsible for developing and incubating strategic Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects with key government clients, in addition to defining business models that satisfy client requirements and building relevant business cases, partnerships and financial models.

Previously, Mr. Al Braiki held various roles in Zakum Development Company (ZADCO) and was Applications Group Manager at C4 Advanced Solutions (C4AS), where he led software development delivery capabilities for one of C4AS’s main managed services accounts, in addition to overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of various software development projects.

Mr. Al Braiki holds a M.Sc. in Computer Engineering and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and Information Management & Technology from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, USA. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) under the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Certified Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation v3 practitioner.

He has worked at global and regional levels with large manufacturers, payors, government and donor agencies in varied analytics, consulting and technology engagements across the
globe. Prior to co-founding PharmARC, he worked with MNCs such as F.Hoffman La Roche and Bristol-Myers Squibb. 


Amit holds a master’s degree in Statistics and Bachelor’s in Mathematics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, NJ.

Nadine was conferred with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ghent in Belgium in 1996 with national recognition for her thesis.
She began to specialize in the treatment of people with a neuro -disability in a clinical care setting in the late ‘90s and her work in disability led to the introduction of the Bobath
concept to the centre, qualifying as a Bobath Assistant Tutor in 2011 and specializing in Gait Analysis Practitioner in 2013.


She strongly advocated for combined pathways of care in the interest of the patient, which helped the growth and recognition of the department with specialized care pathways. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters in Global Public Health.
